Of all the areas surrounding Valencia, very few preserve an intact space where the Mediterranean nature is maintained in its original appearance, where the native vegetation is treasured in old terraced and elevated fields, offering wonderful views of the orchard and the Sierra Calderona.

Alsos means ‘grove’ in Greek. It is a direct allusion to the green areas that will be enjoyed in Virentia. The development consists of 17 townhouses with a common garden area and swimming pool.

The project has taken the care and conservation of the landscape to a level rarely seen before. The study of the terrain with its physical characteristics of relief, vegetation and hydrological peculiarities has reached an extraordinary degree of detail.

The tree protection ordinance of the Godella City Council has been respected not only as a legal requirement, but also as an inspirational guide to the spirit of the sector's urbanization project, whose ultimate goal is to ‘inhabit the landscape’.

In Virentia, each tree, each shrub has been inventoried and identified: pines, olive trees, carob trees, cypresses, fig trees, almond trees... Each existing tree element has been preserved in its location, either as part of the landscape projects of the different urbanizations or as part of the parks, green areas and tree-lined roads of the whole complex. When this is not possible, they are replanted in another space and, if due to the poor condition of the tree it is not advisable to move them, they are replaced by other similar trees.

All trees that cannot be maintained will be replaced or made available to the competent administration for planting, thus maintaining and improving the arboreal heritage of the municipality.
